“Definition of a Hero: An ordinary person (you and me) Put into an ordinary circumstance (right now) Who steps up to take action (answers the call)” – Darren Hardy

The time for a call to action is now.

Some people feel that they are powerless against this current malady that is facing mankind.

You are not powerless.

You are more powerful than you ever have been in your lifetime.

“You have the capacity or ability to direct or influence the behavior of others or the course of events.”

Flood social media with all the great actions that people are taking in your community, your city, your state or province and your country.

Connecting people all over the world in a wholesome manner was the intended purpose of all social media.

Many people are putting their lives on the line and the possibility of utilizing social media for its intended purpose is right now.

This is one of my recent posts for one of the front line workers and you can do the same with someone that you appreciate for their efforts in this unprecedented time.

“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest accomplishment or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.” - Leo Buscaglia

Recently at an Ascension hospital, I noticed the following at the reception desk.

NURSE (noun)

"A scrub wearing, smile bringing, life saving rock star who lives to heal and loves to encourage. They’re kind of a big deal.”

Every single word is real as the nurses at this hospital are beyond amazing.

They are professional, helpful, caring and friendly.

They are spectacular because at the core, they truly love and give from their heart.

These professionals are spectacular doers.

They live Walt Disney’s mantra, “Do what you do so well that they will want to see it again and bring their friends.”

They love what they do.

This is the key to the HSPP (Happiness, success, prosperity and peace of mind) factor in their life.

They recognize that anyone on the planet can serve people.

However, to do it with flair, authenticity, passion, love, and a clear purpose delivers incredible results beyond expectation.

Next time that you see a nurse remember to say thank you.
