The first 40 hours of work per week are for survival. Everything after that is for success.” - Thomas A. Edison

There are a lot of beautiful people that just love putting in time, watching the clock, posting on social media and thinking of everything else than what they should be focused on.

I recall the following at a seminar years ago.

This is their usual daily schedule at 4:30 p.m. and it goes something like this.

At 4:30 p.m., they begin to wind down the day by cruising the office with high five’s and exchanging comradery.

At 4:40 p.m., they make a dash for the bathroom before they exit for the day.

At 4:50 p.m., they slip on their running shoes and tie up their laces like professional athletes ready to compete in the 50-yard dash.

At 4:59 p.m., they position themselves with legs spread ready to dart out of the building.

At 5:00 p.m. they are already in their vehicle that was parked ready to exit without backing into the parking lot.

At 5:05 p.m., the parking lot is empty and they’re out of there until they do it all over again the next day.

Forty hours of unfulfillment?

Life is far too short and you're too intelligent so go and find what really fulfills you.

“Your 40s are good. Your 50s are great. Your 60s are fab. And 70 is f*@king awesome!” - Helen Mirren

I met Roger in Texas on my way to the airport. He shared this amazing story with me that not only inspired but further intensified my strong belief in attirement. I created this word after meeting him. Roger at the time was 79 years young.

Roger worked as a professional sales manager during his career. He currently drives for a car service in Houston, Texas and puts in 50-60 hours per week. He loves it as it provides purpose for him to get up each morning and make it happen.

His wife worked as a schoolteacher in her career and is now a sought out substitute teacher in the school district. She is 76 years young and is the first call for substitute teaching in the district, the reason being that she has incredible discipline skills.

This is her substitute teaching strategy that she employs as she always requests the toughest class in the school as her assignment for the day.

This amazing woman and teacher always requests the names of the two toughest kids in the class. She calls these students by name and asks them to come to the front of the class and help her with a warm up technique.

These are the toughest kids in the school and no one ever calls on them to participate therefore they are puzzled at first.

When she completes the day, these same students always tell the principal that she is their favorite teacher and wish that she was their regular teacher.

This woman is 76 years young and still driving her purpose and mission in life. In turn, she shares this purpose and passion with these young people. Purpose and passion can never be disguised, as it is extremely transparent.

“Tempest-tossed souls, wherever ye may be, under whatsoever conditions ye may live, know this in the ocean of life the isles of Blessedness are smiling, and the sunny shore of your ideal awaits your coming. Keep your hand firmly upon the helm of thought. In the bark of your soul reclines the commanding Master; He does but sleep: wake Him. Self-control is strength; Right Thought is mastery; Calmness is power. Say unto your heart, “Peace, be still!” - James Allen

Several years ago, I met a young girl that just moved from another country to the USA.

She seemed a little bit bothered, so I approached her, introduced myself and asked her what was wrong.

In a very soft voice, she mentioned that her husband was fortunate to get a job in his chosen field, as it was difficult for him in their country.

I said, “That’s great”, but then continued and asked her why she was still so bothered.

She was pregnant at the time and mentioned that she had two previous miscarriages prior to immigrating to the USA and was very worried.

I told her that she needed to understand that the little life in her womb was going to be a beautiful, incredibly, talented and amazing baby.

“How do you know that”, she exclaimed.

“It’s called spiritual awareness”, I responded.

I added, “From this moment on, do not think of the miscarriages only think 24/7 and 86,400 seconds about how beautiful, incredibly, talented and amazing your baby is going to be. That’s it!”

Three months later, she sent me a picture of her beautiful little baby with a note that said, “Tell this story to as many people as you can so they can also have hope”.

“If you are not willing to risk the unusual, you will have to settle for the ordinary.” – Jim Rohn

The Law of Compensation states that the amount of money that you will ever earn will be in exact ratio to the following.

The need for what you do, your ability to do it and difficulty there will be to replace you.

In saying this, there are two types of income that a professional receives as compensation, psychic income and material income.

Certainly, everyone needs cash, wants cash, and chases cash etc. but the psychic income is the greatest form of cash on the planet as it creates a persistent disturbing pre-occupation (passion), with an often-unreasonable idea or feeling (mission), which is characterized by splendor or grandeur. This is an idea that is strikingly beautiful or impressive (purpose).

The three operative words are passion, mission and purpose.

All three words are linked by a very specific frequency.

Unfortunately, many do not penetrate this frequency as one or more of the words are missing from their plan of action.

If you’re not willing to do more than what you’re being paid for, you will never get paid for more than what you’re doing.

You must begin to give people the impression of increase.

When you engage with people they need to know that they will experience more with you.

“Do the thing you fear and the death of fear is certain.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson

At a Tony Robbins, Unleash the Power Within, the final segment was to walk across a bed of hot coals. You could hear the banter as people approached the bed of hot coals of the Fire Walk.

They were talking themselves out of walking across the hot coals.

As we approached the Fire Walk, a team member asked us to stop as he had to insert more hot coals into the Fire Walk. At that point, many people turned around and did not complete the exercise of walking across the bed of hot coals.

We continued and walked across the Fire Walk effortlessly with no issues.

Be a gladiator and don’t let fear crush your desire of doing whatever it is that you want to do with your life.

Being a gladiator also requires incredible faith that moves mountains.

These mountains show up as physical or mental challenges in our lives but are no match for faith.

I am not talking about blind faith.

I am talking about faith that is backed up with solid education and understanding.

It is faith that is represented by fearless actions in trust and humility.

Focus on what you want and not what you do not want.

Your subconscious mind has no clue if it’s real or imagined.

It’s called auto-suggestion that requires incredible discipline. This technique changes behavior and the ultimate outcome.

“I realized that I don’t have to be perfect. All I have to do is show up and enjoy the messy, imperfect and beautiful journey of my life.” - Kerry Washington

Perfection is a recipe for a perfectly disastrous life filled with unhappiness, turmoil and incessant drama.

Nothing in life will always be ideal, pleasing and fulfilling.

Your energy will only be in alignment with your thoughts; feelings and actions therefore seek perfection in the imperfection of everything in your life.

In some instances, perfection is an offspring of intense anxiety and obsessive-compulsive personality disorder that can be treated professionally.

Today, there are many great resources that are available.

My contribution to this topic is entitled, “Live Life” that is located at this link.

In 2020, discover the perfectly, imperfection in your life and business.

Blessings to you and yours.

“Teachers open the doors but you must you must enter by yourself.” – Chinese Proverb

Knowledge is potential power but it is only real power when we act and utilize this power effectively.

How do I use it efficiently when I need it?

You can use this very effectively however you have to step up your level of awareness big time.

I don’t intend to be rude but most people are living by default and totally unaware of what’s right in front of their eyes.

In order to be aware you have to really open your eyes and your ears.  That might seem easy but it does require a little bit of work.

You must utilize your intellectual faculties.  The acronym for the intellectual faculties is WIMPIR.

These faculties are will, imagination, memory, perception, intuition and reason.  They are only words until we really understand how to use them effectively.

Awareness indicates that as an individual, you are acutely in tune with your environment most of the time.

Living in this manner provides you with the opportunity to experience your entire world life experience, more fully.

Some of us have had great teachers in our lifetime.

Is it time to open the door and walk across the threshold towards your destiny?

“Be at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let every New Year find you a better man.” - Benjamin Franklin

Happy New Year 2020!

Life always gives you a second chance. How do you get a second chance?

How does life give you a second chance?

You strategically move from your X to your Y.

How do you get from X to Y?

It’s really child’s play. You simply erase all the stuff that doesn’t work as in the illustration above.

However, if everyone keeps moving my eraser, how am I supposed to erase all the stuff that doesn’t work?

Are people in your life continually moving your eraser?

If you notice the Y above, Y is part of the X. All that you have to do is to grab your eraser and start erasing anything that has to do with the X. As you do this, the Y appears and everything in your life is better, clearer and more manageable.

In my last book Slay Your X Factor And Win For Life, I stated that Your own personal X factor is anything that immobilizes, derails or prevents you from growing intellectually, emotionally, spiritually, physically or financially.

Your Y is anything that you want to be, do or have more in your life.

Today we’re going to talk about erasing the stuff that doesn’t work in your life thus allowing that inner Y to appear. Its appearance will manifest into incredible, joyous and Godsome happenings in your life.

The more that you understand this concept, the more that your own personal Y will show up right on schedule. Your own personal Y is synonymous with second chances in life. Many well-intentioned people suffer hardships that are not easy to overcome but they remain stuck as no one ever taught them to pick up their eraser and start erasing part of the X that hides their inner Y.

Everyone was endowed at birth with this inner Y. I never knew this until I was taught this invaluable information that has altered the direction of my life proactively.

As soon as you understand this XY concept, second chances will begin to show up and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Are you ready?

Pick up your eraser and let’s get moving.

Onward and Godward so your life can begin to be more Godsome.

Happy New Year as the best is yet to come.

"Permanence, perseverance, and persistence in spite of all obstacles, discouragement, and impossibilities: It is this, that in all things distinguishes the strong soul from the week." - Thomas Carlyle

Obstacles can’t stop you.

Problems can’t stop you.

Most of all other people can’t stop you.

The only one that can stop you is yourself.

Actually, your biggest obstacle in your life might just end up being your purpose.

In order to connect with your purpose, re-new your vow to yourself to be the very best version of yourself every single day.

There will always be people that will criticize you along your quest towards your success but you must not allow their influence to sway you from your chosen path.

These naysayers would never even think of leaving their comfort zone but you have.

Allow the masterpiece that was created within you to emerge victoriously.

Be the champion that you were created to be.

Make 2020 your best year yet.

You do have what it takes.

“What lies behind us, and what lies before us are but tiny matters compared to what lies within us.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Everyone on the planet has an underlying script that plays continuously in the background of his or her subconscious mind.

Generally it plays the script over and over by default as a result of the individual’s genetic and environmental factors.

However, implanting new information by design creates different results.

The following script may create new results for you in 2020. Do it for the next 365 days in 2020 and journal your daily results.

When you look back, you will see how far you have come by implanting a brand new script that is so different from the usual New Year’s resolutions that ultimately die on the vine after thirty days or so.

I am so happy and grateful now that every single fiber of my being is vibrating in perfect harmony with God’s law. I rejoice that it is so.

“I am so happy and grateful now that money comes to me in increasing quantities through multiple sources on a continuous basis. Money comes to me easily and effortlessly.” - Bob Proctor

I am so happy and grateful now that I am already calm, strong, steady and full of life. I absolutely believe in myself. I love myself. I feel good about myself. I am already incredibly calm, confident, competent and capable. I rejoice that it is so.

Learn to eat mentally by design in order to build up the treasures within.

“If I fail, I try again, and again, and again. If YOU fail, are you going to try again? The human spirit can handle much worse than we realize. It matters HOW you are going to FINISH. Are you going to finish strong?” – Nick Vujicic

A lot of people focus on the inconvenience of the failure and as a result they fail to see the solution to the problem.

There are always solutions for problems.

Focusing on the problem only intensifies the issue and not the solution.

As stated previously, focus is fierce, optimum concentration, unusually sustained over time.

Therefore, the ego wants you to focus on the problem so you can be emotionally attached to the problem with no possibility of even remotely getting close to the solution.

Failure and success are two sides of the same coin.

You cannot have one without the other.

Next time that you are faced with an issue, think of the solution that is imbedded in the problem.

Not in your life.

Compartmentalization is the key.

Are you going to finish strong?

“Change is painful. Few people have the courage to seek out change. Most people won’t change until the pain of where they are exceeds the pain of change.” – Dave Ramsey

Discontent and dissatisfaction creates the birth of something incredibly fruitful and profitable that otherwise would have been buried forever.

It is painful however your inner being has been constantly attempting to get your attention amid the incessant noise.

Pause and listen attentively.

Your direction will be very clear to you as soon as you stop and listen.

Don’t look back.

Do not look back as your ego wants you to vegetate on this until the cows come home.

You are far more intelligent than your ego.

Look forward with an inner eye of understanding that reveals your true, personal GPS.

You are exactly where you need to be at this juncture in your life.

Trust that inner voice and seize your moment now.
